SASS 2026 is now open – complete your Self-Assessment of Service Statement
All registered childminders and childcare and play providers in Wales who registered before 31 December 2025 must complete their SASS by 27 March 2026.
The Self-Assessment of Service Statement (SASS) 2026 is now open.
How to complete your SASS:
- Log into your CIW Online account
- Complete the SASS form
- Submit before 27 March 2026
Why SASS matters:
The information you provide helps us plan inspections and provide the right support to those who need it most. Data from across Wales will be collated, anonymised and published later in 2026.
Important: Failure to submit your SASS by the deadline could affect your future ratings.
