The Self-Assessment of Service Statement (SASS) update
We have decided to extend the deadline to Friday 17 March 2023 giving providers just over six weeks to complete and submit their SASS.
We wrote to all Childcare and play providers in December 2022 and early January 2023 to notify them that The Self-Assessment of Service Statement (SASS) will be going live on 31 January 2023. We have decided to extend the deadline to Friday 17 March 2023, giving providers just over six weeks to complete and submit their SASS. This is in recognition of the continuing pressures on the sector.
It is a legal requirement for all childminders and childcare and play providers to complete a SASS.
