Share your view about the Western Bay Adoption Service

We’re inspecting adoption services in Swansea, Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot this September. If you’ve used or supported these services, we’d like to hear from you.

During the first week of September 2025, we’ll be carrying out an inspection of the Western Bay Regional Adoption Collaborative. This service supports adoption in Swansea, Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot.

Why we’re asking for your views

We want to understand how well adoption services are working for everyone involved. Your experiences will help us look at the quality of care and support being provided. This includes what’s working well and where things could be better.

Your feedback will directly inform our inspection.

Who we want to hear from

We welcome feedback from birth families, adoptive parents and people who are in the process of being assessed as adoptive parents. We are also keen to hear from practitioners and professionals who support adoption services in these areas.

How to take part

Please complete our survey by 22 August 2025:

What happens next?

We’ll use what you tell us to help shape our inspection of adoption services in Western Bay. After the inspection, we’ll publish a report with our findings and any recommendations for improvement.

Thank you for taking the time to share your views. Your feedback will help us understand how well adoption services are working and make sure people’s voices are heard.
