Local authority assurance check letter: Swansea Council children's services

We carried out our assurance check between 16 and 19 March 2026.

The purpose of the assurance check was to review the local authority's social services performance in exercising their duties and functions in line with legislation. This helps us determine the effectiveness of local authorities in supporting, measuring and sustaining improvements for people.
