Lessons from Practice Worth Sharing: Childcare and Play
This report highlights some of the most effective and inspiring practice we've seen across childcare and play settings in Wales.
In November 2024 we started to collect examples of particularly effective practice that have had a positive impact on children using childcare and play services in Wales. This report summarises this work and explores four themes:
- Child-centred and emotionally attuned practice
- Inclusivity and cultural awareness
- Innovative use of the environment
- Reflective practice
We hope it will help providers across the sector reflect on and further improve the care and support they offer to children and families.
