Christmas card competition 2025 now open
Time to get creative and submit your entries!
We’re pleased to announce that our annual CIW Christmas card competition is now open.
Each year, we invite registered care providers across Wales to help showcase the creativity of the children and adults who use their services. Selected festive designs will be featured on our official 2025 digital Christmas card, which will be shared with newsletter subscribers, published on our website, and promoted across our social media channels.
We welcome any Christmas-themed artwork, including drawings, paintings, collages, wreaths or other creative crafts. Entries can be submitted in Welsh or English.
How to enter
Care providers can send a scanned copy or photograph of each creation to ciw.comms@gov.wales by Wednesday 3 December.
Each entry should include:
- The person’s first name
- Their age
- The name of the care service
There is no limit to the number of entries that can be submitted.
Winning designs
Our Chief Inspector, Gillian Baranski, will personally select the winning designs. We will contact the care providers of the successful entries during the week beginning Monday 8 December.
