Cyngor Gwynedd adult services evaluation report has been published
The inspection took place in September 2022.
During this inspection, we saw evidence of professionals in the safeguarding team working effectively with partners from the local health board and the police, as well as wider local authority teams, to protect adults at risk.
We found Gwynedd is dealing with a shortage of domiciliary care which is clearly impacting the delivery of care and support within the local authority. This was the area of most concern for practitioners and managers in adult services. Staff told us about the challenges in supporting people to achieve their personal outcomes due to a lack of this resource and we found insufficient capacity to meet demand.
