We have today published our performance evaluation of Powys County Council social services
The letter summarises the findings of our inspection which took place from 14-18 September 2020.
The inspection reviewed how well Powys County Council Social Services continue to help and support adults and children with a focus on safety and well-being.
For this inspection, we considered the safety of services, the safety and well-being of people who work in services, and the safety and well-being of people who use or may need to use services.
The findings in this report highlight that the local authority has made significant progress since our last inspections in October 2018 (children’s services) and January 2018 (adult social care).
