Who am I?
My name is Myfanwy Moran and I am a Senior Manager in the Local Authority team in Care Inspectorate Wales.
What do I do?
I am a senior manager in the local authority team in Care Inspectorate Wales.
I joined Care Inspectorate Wales in January 2020 after many years working in local authorities. The first lockdown occurred during my induction.
My areas of interest and/or experience
I am a registered social worker. My main areas of interest are adult mental health services and I practised as a mental health manager (and Approved Mental Health Professional) for many years.
I have always particularly enjoyed emergency work and managed an emergency out-of-hours service for children and adults for many years.
What’s important to me
My family - two small children.
My hobbies - are running and general well-being including mental health
My work - working towards ensuring people receive the best social care in Wales.
